I am a writer and a visual artist. Over the years, I have assembled an amalgam of skills, enabling me to carve for myself a career path designed to tackle various projects and developmental programs for my clients. I am currently based on the East Coast, USA.
I completed the Digital Copywriting Apprentice Course at the American Writers and Artists Institute (AWAI under Nick Usborne. My achievements cover the following areas: arts, cultural heritage management, product design consultancy (gifts, toys & home), artmaking and writing. I managed various art, design, cultural and local heritage initiatives from conceptualization (module creation and proposal writing) to completion. Years of being a freelance writer/visual artist have taught me the importance of keen observation, stressing on the totality of things as well as zeroing into detail as potentially creating an impact both ways.
Persistence, positivity, passion for, and commitment to my work and the sincere desire to help others are my driving forces. Seeing businesses grow, get better or be among the best gives me a sense of fulfillment.
Let's talk about your business. I'd love to hear from you!

Ilise Benun’s 21-Day Challenge: Pearl Nuggets, Gentle “Nag-its” and the Metamorphosis of a Sleepy Bug
It all started from an AWAI live session telling us about Ilise Benun’s 21-Day Challenge. The game-like feel piqued my curiosity, so I took the plunge. I thought I had nothing to lose, even learn a thing or two.
Day One and the first two weeks made me look forward to every session with the start of the last two weeks bringing me to the point at which the struggle was starting to get real. It was tough getting rid of the road blockades that were preventing me from proceeding smoothly towards the day’s target goal. Prior to the last week of the challenge, I was obviously fumbling my way around and somehow got stuck in the quagmire of “What Am I?”. The entire process was akin to looking at myself in the mirror without biases.
I spent a whole weekend searching for and eventually finding myself, which somehow helped clear the bottleneck. And this week finally gives me a glimpse of the Finish Line, to which I am certainly looking forward. Nonetheless, I still have a few fences to tackle until I reach the end.
Ilise Benun has been such a nurturing, gentle, yet potent force - a wellspring of valuable insight and guidance for me, these past few weeks. She is like a motherly doula, patiently guiding me through birthing pains, easing my fears with her calm, reassuring and confident manner.
Ilise’s patience and her uncanny ability to both give attention to all of us - her students, and get ours, are incredible. I marvel at her way of speaking to us which makes us feel like she is personally talking to each one of us. Her generosity in sharing her knowledge and wisdom with her students, the sincere desire to help and her kind manner of teaching others are worthy of note. Her lessons have given rise to various realizations in me: to do better, to be MORE - as there is a whole universe out there holding such infinite potential, waiting to be tapped.
I am so grateful. Read more>>>

Her personal examples (as well as her references to other awesome individuals), are worthy of emulation. Among these are the energy she projects, the self-discipline she practices, the philosophy of doing and constantly being (and becoming) better, the emphasis on relationships with others, the passion and dedication to impart learning to other individuals. And certainly, the sum-total of these being not an end in itself, but the consequence(s) of everything positive, which comes back to its origin and goes back again multiple times, each time getting better. My gratitude extends to Teri Trespicio, Danielle Zeitlin Hughes, and Chris Haviland, who generously shared their individual journey and valuable lessons.
This module has been highly transformative for me. I view it as a process of journeying back into the past and retrieving the truths and mysteries about what made me into the individual standing in front of the mirror.
I see a butterfly slowly emerging from its chrysalis state….
With this 21DayChallenge ending, I will be missing Ilise’s gentle prodding…. and if ever, I find myself facing my fears all over again, I will listen to her voice - stored at the back compartments of my mind, reminding me of how to navigate through IT ALL:
“There is no right or wrong way.”
“No pressure.”
“Things will just unfold on their own….”
And this is not the end but the beginning of things… :-)
